To be eligible, an applicant must –
- be an assistant professor employed in a medical college in India
- have an MBBS degree
Note – Preference will be given to an assistant professor who has obtained the first academic appointment within two years from the year of consideration for the fellowship.
The selected assistant professor will receive up to INR 9,00,000 as a stipend for the duration of the fellowship.
A bench fee of up to INR 12,00,000 will be provided directly to the training institution.
