DRDO-DEBEL Bengaluru Apprenticeship for Graduate Students 2023

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must –

  • hold a graduate degree in any of the following disciplines –
    • B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bio-Medical Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology
    • B.Com in Accounts
    • BBA/BA (Specialisation in Psychology/Humanities/Management) in HR or Administration
    • B.Lib in Library Science
    • B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology

Note –

  • Candidates must not have work experience of one year or more
  • They should not have completed 3 years after passing their qualifying examination as of 30th September 2023.
  • Candidates must not have undergone/currently going through Apprenticeship training elsewhere.
Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of INR 9,000.

Note – No TA/DA will be provided upon joining the apprenticeship training.

Note – Candidates are required to carry all the original and copies of required documents for verification while appearing for the interview.

How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the apprenticeship by following the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
Step 2: Click the ‘Register’ button and fill in the required registration details. (Note – If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Read the information carefully, fill in the application form, attach scanned copies of required documents and send through email at – hrd.debel.debel@gov.in on or before 4th August 2023.

Note – The duly filled application form along with the relevant documents must be scanned into a single PDF file before sending it through email.

Engineering Candidates need to register on the NATS portal before sending their application.

Candidates who are not registered with the NATS portal can follow the steps listed below to register themselves: 
Step 1: Visit the official website of the NATS portal.
Step 2: Navigate to the ‘Enroll’ button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and click it.
Step 3: Select the ‘Student’ option and complete the registration process filling in all the necessary details. (Note – Students who have already enrolled in the NATS portal, can log in with valid credentials)

Note –

  • A unique enrollment number is required to fill out the application for the apprenticeship program.
  • Candidates enrolling for the first time on the NATS portal are required to wait for their unique enrollment/registration number to be generated before applying.
  • It takes up to a day to verify the enrollment request and gets approved by the concerned regional boards. 
  • Once the applicants receive the unique enrollment number, they can proceed to apply.
