The Continuing Education Programme (CEP) of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi has launched an online certificate programme in “Project Management: Theory & Practice”.
As per the official brochure, this will be an online six months (60 hours) long programme which will begin from November 4, 2023. These online sessions will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:30 to 8 pm. The last date to apply is October 15.
The fee of this online course is Rs 10,000 + GST (18%).
Eligibility and evaluation
To be eligible for this programme, candidates should be graduates (10+2+3) in any discipline/ diploma holders in any branch of Engineering from a recognised university.
For admission, candidates will have to show proof of graduation in form of a consolidated graduation marksheet (including all semester). The final year students are advised to provide marksheet up to the preceding semester. Candidates will have to submit any government issued photo ID like Aadhar/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Passport etc, along with a passport size photo.
The programme will have a mid term and an end term review, which can be held online or face-to-face at the IIT Delhi campus. The evaluation criteria will be determined by the faculty. It will include quizzes, projects, case studies, assignments, etc.
Achievement of a certificate requires a minimum of 50 per cent in the evaluation elements and consistent attendance of 70 per cent in lectures and tutorials. Only an e-certificate will be provided, and it will be issued by CEP, IIT Delhi.
Faculties for this programme are drawn from different departments of IIT Delhi, IIMs, and from other known universities from India and abroad.
