Maharashtra NEET PG Round 3 Registration 2023 Starts Today; Revised PG, MDS Cut-Offs

NEW DELHI: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will begin the Maharashtra NEET PG round 3 counselling today. The revised schedule was announced yesterday on the official website, cetcell.net.in/NEET-PGM-2023/login. The decision to revise the schedule was taken after the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) delayed the NEET PG round 3 result. Later, the Union health ministry approved to reduce the NEET PG cut-off to zero for all categories. Following this, the state counselling committee has announced the NEET PG and NEET MDS cut-off 2023.
In view of limited time available for conducting counselling, the Cell requested all participating institutes and colleges to treat all Saturdays and Sundays and Gazetted Holidays as working days. The last date to apply for Maharashtra NEET PG round 3 is October 2 up to 6 PM.

Maharashtra NEET PG CAP-3: Things to remember

The State Cell has announced some important guidelines for candidates who wish to participate in the Maharashtra CAP-3 counselling.

  • Candidates will have to complete the choice filling process as preferences entered in round 1 and 2 will be considered “null and void”. Choice filling will begin from October 4.
  • Candidates who have joined in All India Quota (AIQ) round 3 counselling will not be eligible for state counselling CAP round 3.
  • Similarly, data of Joined candidates of CAP Round 3 will be shared with MCC for further process and such candidates will not be eligible for any subsequent round(s) of any counselling.
  • Status retention form once filled cannot be withdrawn.
  • Maharashtra NEET PG counselling fee payment through cheque is allowed on Sunday and bank holidays. However, they have to be replaced with DD immediately on the next working day.
