To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a domicile in Odisha
- belong to the General/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Scheduled Caste (SC)/Other Backward Classes (OBC)/Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC)/Economically Backward Class (EBC) category
For Undergraduates:
- be enrolled in UG (Arts) degree with Odia as honours subject in a recognised degree college/autonomous college or university within Odisha or other states
- have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Class 12 examination, conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha
For Postgraduates:
- have taken admission in M.A. course (Odia) in the state university/degree college or autonomous college of the state or other states
- have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate at undergraduate level, conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha
Note:- Students pursuing higher education through distance learning or correspondence courses are ineligible for this scholarship.
A one-time financial grant of ₹20,000 will be given to the selected students in the following manner:-
- Students studying UG degree with Odia (Hons.) – 1,200
- Students studying PG degree in Odia – 300
- Domicile certificate issued by the competent authority such as Tahasildar or Additional Tahasildar
- Academic transcripts/marksheets of the last qualifying examinations
- Aadhaar-linked bank account details of the applicant
- College/institute ID card (Note:- If unavailable, a Letter of Undertaking authenticated by the concerned educational institution specifying the academic session, course, name, duration, and the student’s roll or registration number may suffice)
- Additional documents confirming enrolment in a three-year undergraduate degree in Arts with Odia (Honours)

Step 5: After successful registration, fill in the required details and submit.
