Erasmus University NL Scholarship 2024

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must:-

  • be a non-EEA (European Economic Area) national
  • Have applied for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s degree at Erasmus University Rotterdam (Note:- Courses offered by the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) and Erasmus School of Philosophy (ESPhil) are not eligible, except for the Research Master in Philosophy and Economics)
  • not have obtained a diploma from an educational institution in the Netherlands
  • never have been enrolled as a full-degree student at an educational institution in the Netherlands
  • have only received the NL Scholarship Erasmus University once
  • meet the specific program requirements of the chosen faculty
Benefits

The selected students will receive a scholarship of €5,000, €10,000, or €15,000, depending on the specific program and/or criteria defined by the faculty.

Documents

  • Motivation letter, stating the motivation to study at Erasmus School of Economics, showing evidence of being an excellent student, and demonstrating why the scholarship would enlarge the opportunity to study at Erasmus School of Economics (in maximum of two A4 pages)
  • Financial statement, describing the financial situation and the reason and need to receive the scholarship
  • Certified copy of the (most recent) academic transcripts, including certificates and marksheets
  • Certified statement from the educational institution confirming the obtained GPA

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by following the steps mentioned below:-

Step 4: The application process varies by faculty. Click on the respective faculty’s link for more information and to apply for the scholarship.

Candidate selection will be based on meeting the eligibility criteria, academic merit, and the information provided in the application form. Additionally, specific selection criteria set by the chosen faculty may also be applied.
