The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will host a campus placement drive in collaboration with two companies, ARCIS – E SERVICES PVT. LTD. and GLOBIVA. The placement drive will be conducted on February 23, 2024 at the Convention Centre, IGNOU Campus, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi.
At the ARCIS – E SERVICES PVT. LTD., permanent positions are available for Regional callers (Odia/Telugu), Retention Executives and Backend Executives. The salary packages will be offered for Rs 1.7 lakh per annum to 3 lakh per annum. Interested candidates should have 0-1 years of experience.
At GLOBIVIA, permanent positions are available for RBL IB [Customer Support], AMEX Insurance Sales and AMEX Platinum. The salary packages will be offered for Rs 1.8 lakh per annum to Rs 5 lakh per annum. Interested candidates should have 0-5 years of experience.
For both the companies, interested students should have good communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and fluency in English and Hindi. Candidates will be selected on the basis of group discussion and interview.
Meanwhile, IGNOU launched its own campus in Jammu. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan virtually inaugurated the state-of-the-art campus building of IGNOU Regional Centre, Jammu, which is spread over a two acre-plot at Bantalab in the outskirts of the city.
The new campus has a built-up area of around 6,800 square feet, the new campus building has a high-tech electric, electronic, CCTV, solar, intercom, electronic private automatic branch exchange (EPABX) and fire alarm. “This is a historic moment for the Regional Centre, Jammu to have its own permanent full-fledged campus which will not only be beneficial for the Regional Centre but also for the learners and prospective learners of IGNOU in the Jammu region,” Jai Prakash Verma, Regional Director, IGNOU Regional Centre, Jammu was quoted saying by PTI.
