BHU Faculty Members to Visit Top 10 Institutes as Part of Excellence Exposure Programme

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has launched the Excellence Exposure Program (BEEP) for its faculty members. As part of the programme, BHU faculty members will get the opportunity to visit the top 10 institutions in their respective fields. The programme is running under the Institution of Eminence scheme.

“Banaras Hindu University (BHU) remains dedicated to achieving excellence in academia, research, and administration, as evidenced by its ongoing commitment to the growth and development of its members through diverse initiatives,” said BHU in an official statement.

BEEP’s objectives include studying and adopting best practices, fostering connections for future collaborations, and identifying innovative approaches for implementation within BHU.

BHU Vice-Chancellor professor Sudhir Kumar Jain said the scheme opens new paths of professional growth for BHU’s faculty members and officers. “If we have to excel as an institution, we must learn from the best practices elsewhere and adapt those for our universities. This scheme is one of many such endeavors that are aimed at achieving excellence at BHU,” he said.

Professor Sanjay Kumar, Coordinator IoE, mentioned that upon the completion of programme, participants are expected to formulate a comprehensive plan integrating identified best practices at BHU. Emphasizing alignment with BHU’s strategic goals, this initiative aims to enhance overall institutional excellence, ensuring the effective incorporation of valuable insights gained during the program.

The scheme also provides for recognizing exceptional contributions, and nominating outstanding participants for future visits to top institutions of the world, fostering continuous learning and international exposure.
