SAT 2019-20: Check registration and important dates @ sat.org

SAT, a standardised undergraduate university admission test is being conducted by College Board.  Academic success and university readiness of students seeking admission to undergraduate programs at various educational institutions in India and abroad can be measured using SAT test. Parameters such as reading comprehension of words in context, computational ability of command of evidence and analysis in science and social studies, etc are tested through this test. 

 

The SAT is accepted at many universities in India and around the world, as well as almost every university in the United States.

 

SAT in India: Important Dates

The SAT test is conducted four times a year in India – October, December, March and May.

 

SAT Test Dates 2019-20

Test Date  (October 5, 2019, December 7, 2019, March 14, 2019, May 2, 2020) 

Registration Deadline (September 6, 2019, November 8, 2019,  February 14, 2019,April 3, 2019)

 

SAT 2019 Result Date

The students who took the SAT test can login to the student report portal  https://studentscores.collegeboard.org – to check their test scores online. Most of the SAT scores are announced two weeks after the test day.

 

Tentatively, the test scores of the SAT May 2019 test will be released on May 17. Within 10 days after the scores are released, the College Board sends scores of the students to various colleges. Students in India can send SAT scores for free to some universities in India.(https://signup.collegeboard.org/india-global-alliance/)

 

SAT Test Fee 2019-20 for Indian students

1. Indian students who are applying only for SAT test need to pay a fee of $98.5 USD

2. Students who are applying for SAT with Essay need to submit a fee of $113.5 USD
