Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the SSC CGL post listed at Group“B & C”-Office grades, is required to register for the Common Recruitment Process. For the posts of SSC CGL, the examination will be two tier i.e. the Online Examination will be held in two phases, Preliminary and Main. The candidates who will qualify in Preliminary Examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main Examination. They will be provisionally allotted on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the Main Examination and the vacancies reported by the commission.

Age limit

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years(may differ based on post which you may apply) on 1st August 2020,  i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1990 and not later than 1st August 1999.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must be either:-

A citizen of India, or
a subject of Nepal, or
a subject of Bhutan, or
a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Srilanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

How to Apply

Candidates can apply online in the month of October(also differ) every year. No other mode of application will be accepted. Pre-requisites for Applying Online: Candidates should have valid email ID and mobile no. which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will be essentially required for receiving any communication/ call letters/ advices from the bank by email/ SMS.

GUIDELINES FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION: Candidates will be required to register themselves online through SSC’s website https://ssc.nic.in/

After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using debit card/ credit card/Internet Banking.
