Joint Entrance Exam- Advanced (JEE Advanced) will be conducted as per the new syllabus released today, on November 24.

New Delhi: The syllabus for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology has been revised for the 2023 exam. The revised JEE Advanced 2023 syllabus was announced today at the official website for the exam — jeeadv.ac.in.

A statement on the official website says, “The revised syllabus to be followed from JEE (Advanced) 2023 is online.” JEE Advanced covers there subjects — Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics — and there are changes in all three.

As per the new syllabus, the Physics section includes topics under the broad categories of General Physics, Mechanics, Thermal Physics, Electromagnetic waves, Optics among others. The Chemistry section covers topics including the States of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding, and Molecular Structure, among others. The Mathematics section includes Sets, Relations, and Functions, Algebra, Matrices, among other topics. The complete list of topics are on the website.

JEE Advanced 2021 Result

Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates who qualify the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) for admission to engineering are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. The exam was held on October 3 and the JEE Advanced 2021 result was declared on October 15.

A total of 1,41,699 students appeared for the examination, of whom 41,862 have qualified. Mridul Agarwal of IIT Delhi Zone topped JEE Advanced 2021 by scoring 348 out of 360 marks in the entrance examination. Kavya Chopra from the same zone has obtained 286 marks and topped among women candidates.
