About the Program
IIT Kharagpur Centre for Oceans, Rivers, Atmosphere and Land Sciences Senior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to B.Tech. degree holders. The candidate is required to work on the project titled – “Ground and Remote Sensing-based Measurements of Leaf Area Index and Estimating Net Primary Productivity in Tropical Deciduous and Semi-evergreen Forests in India(GRA)”. The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of up to INR 35,000 per month.

Eligibility:
To be eligible, an applicant must –
- Not be more than 32 years of age.
- Hold a B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering.
- Have GATE/NET qualification.
- Hold an M.Tech degree in Remote Sensing/GeoInformation with two years of research experience.
