About the Program
NIMHANS Bengaluru Department of Neurology (DN) Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2021 is an opportunity offered to BTech or BE or MCA degree holders. The fellowship is on a contract basis for the DST-funded project entitled “Smart TVNS: A Device that Uses Closed-loop Technology and Machine Learning to Optimize Non-invasive Transcutaneous Vagal Nerve Stimulation(tVNS) for Refractory Epilepsy Monitoring and Treatment”. The selected candidate will receive consolidated remuneration of INR 31,000 per month plus 24% HRA.
Fellowship Details
NIMHANS Bengaluru Department of Neurology (DN) Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2021, Deadline: 15-Oct-2021
Eligibility:
To be eligible, an applicant must –
- Be up to 30 years of age.
- Hold a B.Tech. or B.E. or MCA degree or equivalent.
Desirable Knowledge/skills:
- Have experience working in research projects involving device development.
- Have experience working with EEG or ECG or equivalent biosignal time series.
- Have knowledge in the usage of MATLAB/Python software.
- Have experience in working with an IDE, Debugger, and C or C++ Compiler environment in an Embedded Linux environment.
- Have application development Experience in any network protocols – Socket in Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth/BLE services.
- Have application development experience in Audio playback applications using ALSA and Pulse Audio.
- Have experience in GUI development in GTK+ or Wx Widgets.
- Have experience in Version control using Git or SVN.
